   This card seems to offer great graphics, but in exchange it sounds like an airplane is taking off in my (previously silent) PC. I’m not sure I want to trade audio for video . . .

   yes..one more time HD4 series kick nvidia..
   
   this model 4890 is the best video card for 3dmax
   
   and you can OC it very easy with ccc program..
   
   high recommend to cg artist and gammers..

   I’ve set up my new desktop with this awesome graphics card and it didn’t disappoint me. It’s only a week since I have it & I’ve watched videos, movies and video detailing is excellent.

   I’d certainly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an excellent / high-end graphics card for watching blu-ray or gaming.
